UtonomyOne - core technology: The main product is a retrofit solution consisting of hardware, sensors, and cloud-based software. It retrofits onto existing pressure regulators (governors) in the gas grid, allowing them to be operated remotely, replacing manual adjustments.
Leakage Reduction: By optimising and lowering the average pressure in gas networks, UtonomyOne reduces methane emissions (which have 84 times the global warming potential of CO2) by up to 25%.
Smart Gas Grid & Digitalisation: Our platform optimises grid pressure using data such as weather, consumption statistics, and industrial demand. This supports the integration of renewable gases like biomethane.
Global Presence: In addition to our major contracts and deployment in the UK, Utonomy is also now active on the European and international market, with projects in 6+ European countries and projects and representation in the wider world.
