Transneft is the largest pipeline company in the world, a Russian state operator of oil and petroleum products trunk pipelines. Transneft operates over 68 thousand km of trunk pipelines. Transneft Diascan is system integrated provider of in-line inspection services to Transneft. Besides inspection activity, Diascan is also active participant of technical supervisory board at corporate integrity management issues.

The newly accumulated experience of communication with foreign pipeline operators allowed to compare domestic experience of pipeline operation and maintenance with foreign experience and practice. This paper gives insights into the lessons learnt from adapting domestic solutions for international pipeline operators.
