Important: Scam Warning

In recent years - and not only around ptc - unauthorized third parties have increasingly attempted to sell services they do not actually provide. We want to clarify:

  • We do not sell participant lists, nor do we commission agencies to do so.
  • We do not sell visa invitation letters. We do, however, issue them free of charge. If needed pre-booking, they are available on our website and can also be added to your ticket as a free add‑on (those will have a note that the ticket has already been bought and paid).
  • If you are ever in doubt whether an email is valid, please contact us directly via a known communication way before engaging with any third party or making any payment.

Will there be a smartphone app available for the event?

Yes, a feature-rich smartphone app will be made available from roughly 2 weeks before the event. You will be able to arrange your personal conference agenda and could browse the list of participants. Participants will be able to interact with each other and the exhibiting companies in various ways.

What is the dress code at ptc?

The dress code for the entire event is "Business Casual". Exceptions are the Meetup on Monday and the invitation to dinner on Wednesday with the dress code "Smart Casual".

I have received a message from the Pipeline Technology Conference and I am not sure if it is authentic.

We have received information that fake e-mails are sometimes being sent offering services for our event. Please check the "from" address of any emails. All our emails are from any of the following domains: eitep.de / xcdsystem.com / pipeline-conference.com (or from sub-contractors mentioned in the exhibitor manual). If you are not sure about the authenticity of one of our emails, please contact us via the chat on this website or by email at ptc@eitep.de.

Do you offer internet access during the event?

Yes, we offer a free basic Wi-Fi access for all our participants. Premium access with higher speed is available on request via the exhibitor shop and/or our registration desk on site.

 

Registration

How can I register for ptc?

To register for the Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc), you can follow these steps:

  • Visit the official ptc website
  • Look for the "Tickets“ button on the top right
  • Choose the ticket of your choice
  • Fill out the required information, such as your name, email address, and contact information.
  • Choose the type of registration you prefer.
  • Proceed to payment using a credit card or other accepted payment methods.
  • Confirm your registration by following the instructions sent to your email.
What payment options are available?

Credit card or bank transfer after receipt of invoice.

What is the difference between a Full-Event-Ticket and a ptc Conference ticket?

Full-Event-Ticket ticket includes additionally the opportunity to attend one of our training courses on Monday.

What is the cost of attending the conference and exhibition?

Detailed pricing information are available in our ticket shop.

Is catering included?

Catering is included for all training courses. Catering is also included for all conference tickets where mentioned. Exhibition visitors can add catering as an option.

What kind of catering options are available?

The catering will have a wide selection and presented in buffet form. The individual dishes are marked so that you can compose the dishes, for example, halal, vegetarian or vegan. You can find out allergens directly from the staff on site.

Are there any discounts available for groups or early registration?

When you buy 5 tickets or more, you are eligible for a special discount. Get in touch with us at ptc@eitep.de.

Are the social events included in the registration fee?

The ptc get-together on Tuesday is included in the registration fee. The ptc Dinner Invitation on Wednesday is optional.

Is there a deadline for registration?

You can purchase tickets at any time, even during the event. There is no fixed deadline. However, we strongly recommend booking at least two weeks in advance. This helps ensure a smooth on-site check-in and gives you enough time to use the ptc smartphone app to prepare for your participation. If you are planning to attend one of our training courses, please register as early as possible. Seats are limited, and some courses may be fully booked as the event approaches.

Can VAT be refunded? (Only net prices are shown in the ticket shop)

Yes, you can have the VAT on your tickets refunded:

  • If the invoice recipient is based in Germany, the standard VAT process applies as part of the domestic tax circulation system.
  • If the invoice recipient is within the EU, you can claim the VAT refund through the Federal Central Tax Office in Germany (Bundeszentralamt für Steuern, BZSt). More information is available here: VAT Refund for EU Businesses.
  • If the invoice recipient is outside the EU, VAT can also be refunded via the Federal Central Tax Office in Germany. For details, visit: VAT Refund for Non-EU Businesses.

For invoices related to other services (e.g., exhibitions, sponsorships), they are generally issued VAT-free outside of Germany under Reverse Charge mechanisms.

Please note: The Pipeline Technology Conference is a B2B only event. These information do not apply to end customers, which are not addressed by our event.

Is it possible to attend the conference online?

No, the Pipeline Technology Conference is an in-person-only event with no online streaming.

Will the presentations be made available afterward?

All papers of the conference will be made available on an open access basis via the ptc Pipeline Open Knowledge Base on the ptc website. The presentation files will not be shared publicly.
