Abstract

Climate Change is one of our main challenges and most of O&G operators are adopting ambitious Net Zero targets to accelerate progress toward the energy transition. One of the main concerns, when dealing with large networks of assets or complex supply chains, resolves around this question: “At Corporate, Regional and Asset level, how can we ensure adequate monitoring and efficient deployment of the company’s strategy?”

Over the last years the Achieving Net Zero (ANZ) concept was developed, helping in achieving sustainability objectives with a focus on the Industry Carbon Footprint. These are the three key objectives:

  1. Increasing confidence on the emission data, gradually re-directing the approach from emission estimation to emission measurement
  2. Organizing the data to identify priority at granular level
  3. Generating value through reliable progresses on sustainability commitments

This concept will be presented using a case study from mid-stream sector.
