Abstract

In evaluating the geometric configurations of buried pipelines, traditional survey methods like Pipeline Locators and In-Line Inspection (ILI) tools are commonly employed. However, Current Magnetometry Inspection (CMI) presents substantial advancements over these traditional techniques. For operators, the critical consideration lies in the comparative efficacy of these methods. Consequently, surveys employing both traditional methods and CMI were conducted to ascertain the compatibility and accuracy of their respective data outputs. The findings from these comparative analyses, along with a comprehensive evaluation, are presented herein.
