For a pipeline known to be under the influence of AC currents the results of DCVG measurements are compared to the findings of an intelligent pig run. It is described how the dectectability varies for different kinds of in-line inspection tools. New developments in the field of high-resolution in-line inspection tools are presented. DCVG measurements are put in context with other means of testing the functioning of the CP-System. The problem of properly aligning the different data sets is discussed. The results of a comparison are shown.
